
The Sharjah Charity International, SCI, has announced that its total aid in 2015 has surpassed Dh 264 million, an increase of 16% compared to last year.
The information was disclosed at the Board's meeting which was presided over by Sheikh Essam bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Office of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Charity International.
During the meeting, officials extended their thanks and appreciation to H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuing support and follow-up to the charitable work undertaken in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Board members also reviewed results of the previous meeting and the recommendations that have been implemented. They discussed the estimated budget for 2016. The Board also discussed proposals aimed at enhancing of the SCI's activities, inside and outside the country.
