
A number of people were reported dead and injured during mortar attacks on a neighborhood in Aleppo.
According to the Syrian state TV, mortar shells landed in a school at Sayf al aDawla Neighborhood, Aleppo. Many civilians were reported killed and injured in the attack.
Meantime, the Local coordination committees of Syria announced negotiations held between oppositions, Iran and Hezbollah failed to reach extension for the truce in Idlib.
The conflict in Syria, which started in March 2011, has reportedly claimed more than 240,000 lives up until now.
The violence has also forced over 3.8 million Syrians to take refuge in neighboring countries, including Jordan and Lebanon. More than 7.2 million others have been displaced within Syria, according to the United Nations.
