
The second round of tripartite talks between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan will kick off in Cairo on Thursday.
The talks will be chaired by Egypt’s Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy, who will inaugurate the talks by delivering a speech, said a statement by Irrigation Ministry.
A three-way national committee of 12 experts (four from each country) will follow up the implementation of the road map agreed by the irrigation ministers of their countries during their meeting in Khartoum in August.
The talks will run till Friday.
The talks will mainly tackle choosing the consultancy office that will be entrusted with following up the studies of the dam.
