
Security forces in Suez on Monday continued preparations to secure the anniversary of the January 25 revolution by reinforcing security checkpoints on main roads to the governorate.
Security troops were also deployed in the surroundings of Martyr Ahmed Hamdy tunnel linking Suez with Sinai peninsula.
Suez Security Chief General Magdy Abdel Aal said security forces are combing the districts to the eastern and western sides of Suez Canal, asserting that there is full coordination between police troops and army.
Security patrols are stationed around the clock in Suez to secure all streets.
