Security forces control situation on October Bridge

Security forces succeeded to control the situation on October Bridge after dispersing protesters trying to occupy it from the ramp in Nasr City. The protesters have now retreated away from the bridge. Some supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi tried to block traffic, manifesting their anger over a dawn operation to remove protest camps in Cairo's Rabaa el-Adawiya and Giza's Nahda squares. They set car tyres ablaze, paralyzing traffic. In response, security forces fired tear gas to disperse them.
