The Interior Ministry said that security forces have cordoned off all main entrances to Cairo, Giza and Qalubiyah to prevent elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group from sneaking into a number of protests planned on Friday and triggering chaos and clashes between citizens and security personnel.
In statements to MENA on Friday, a security source said that the Interior Ministry finalized all security arrangements to encounter attempts by the MB elements to infiltrate into the protests, which they had called for, to tamper with the country's security.
In a statement on Thursday, the Interior Ministry warned citizens not to heed calls to join Friday's protests.
