Security measures were intensified across Suez especially at Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel and the southern entrance of the Suez Canal, Suez security director said in a statement on Wednesday.
This coincides with the terror attacks that targeted a number of army checkpoints in North Sinai province.
Police forces were deployed at the entrances and exits of the governorate via checkpoints and patrols,
He asserted that all vital and security institutions are fully secured around the clock.
