
Security forces reinforced their presence along the Suez-South Sinai road on Thursday as part of preparations to secure Egypt Economic Development Conference, to start in Sharm el Sheikh on Friday.
Suez Security chief Tarek el Gazar said all security leaderships are inspecting streets to check on security.
He added that a wide-scale plan is now being implemented to secure all entrances and exits of Sinai, the Suez Canal ferryboat, Martyr Ahmed Hamdy tunnel and the Red Sea road.
He said the eastern and western banks of Suez Canal are being secured in coordination with army forces.
