
Assistant Foreign Minister for the Consulate Affairs and Egyptian Expatriates Hisham el Naqeeb said that the Foreign Ministry is keen on contacting the Civil Status Organization in the Interior Ministry to send more committees to issue national IDs for the Egyptian expatriates in the Arab countries.
El Naqeeb underlined that preparations for the committees begin early, adding that the Kuwait's committee finished its work Tuesday, while that of Beirut began work on Wednesday and will offer its services till January 26.
The Egyptian official reiterated that a committee will be sent to Riyadh between February 17 to 26, 2016 and another one will be delegated to Jeddah in 17 to 28 February, 2016.
He further hailed cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and the departments concerned with serving the Egyptian expatriates in the Interior Ministry.
