The municipal council of Misrata has denied news that Faez al Seraj, the head of the Libyan National Consensus Government, has been held with his accompanying delegation while offering condolences to families of victims of the terrorist bombing in Zeltin.
Seraj's convoy came under gunfire while on the way back to Misrata Friday night and after having offered condolences to the families, said Mohamed Sheteiwi, the head of the municipal council, Saturday.
That's why they had to return to Zeltin and stay there until measures are taken to secure their trip back to Misrata, Sheteiwi explained.
