
The Shafallah Centre for persons with special needs, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Social Action, participated in the international conference on the promotion of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities within the framework of the 2030 sustainable development agenda, which was held in Cairo from 19-20 March.
The conference discussed a number of issues relating to people with disabilities, including the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the international level. It also reviewed the 2030 sustainable development agenda and the rights of persons with disabilities, and formed working groups to discuss issues of people with disabilities.
