The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has confirmed its commitment to developing and strengthening economic and investment relations between the UAE and Algeria.
The Sharjah Chamber also urged the domestic private sector in general and its members in particular to take advantage of investment opportunities and its available incentives for both sides to strengthen the volume of partnerships in various fields.
This came when Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCCI, and Salah Attia, Ambassador of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic to Sharjah, met yesterday at the chamber's headquarters, in the presence of Waleed Bukhatir, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and a number of senior officials of the Sharjah Chamber.
The meeting was aimed to strengthen joint efforts in the development of economic relations between the UAE and Algeria in general, and Sharjah in particular, with contributions from both sides.
The meeting also touched on ways and mechanisms to promote co-operation and development of relations through services provided by the Sharjah Chamber and the Algerian Embassy.
