Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani left the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this evening after taking part in the ongoing Islamic Summit in the holy city of Makkah. HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from King Abdulaziz International Airport by Secretary-General of the National Security Council Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud and the Qatari Embassy’s staff. HH the Emir sent two cables to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to HH the Emir and his accompanying delegation. HH the Emir was accompanied by a high-level official delegation comprising HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, HE Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah and a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
