
The Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in the Lebanese border area of Shabaa, will start operation in early september, following an 8-year closure, the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, has said.
The UAE ambassador announced opening of the hospital during a meeting he had today with the number of officials and dignitaries in Shabaa. He thanked the Lebanese Health Minister Wael Abu Faour for his efforts which led to the hospital opening.
The efforts of the ambassador and the embassy in Beirut emanated from the UAE's firm belief in the importance of providing much-needed adequate healthcare services to Shabaa area in Lebanon.
