
Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah stressed here on Monday the significance of the third Government Summit held in Dubai.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the summit and his participation in a roundtable session, the Kuwaiti minister said senior Gulf, Arab and world officials and experts are partaking in the summit held under the theme "Shaping Future Governments".
He said such gatherings are mainly meant to discuss different issues of mutual interest and to share views and experience on how to address relevant challenges.
On Kuwait's government approach to tackle employment challenges, he said the government has an ambitious development plan primarily based on developing human manpower, increasing its productivity, boosting its efficiency and directing distinguished staff to the private sector which is the actual partner to the government.
The third Government Summit kick-started here earlier on Monday under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
It hosts more than 100 guest speakers from outside the UAE. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, is one of the main speakers during the event.
