The State of Kuwait's foreign policy is based on moderation and balance, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah affirmed on Wednesday.
The minister, speaking at today's Parliament session, expressed understanding of concerns expressed by some MPs in this respect, assuring the lawmakers that broad lines of the country's foreign policy are declared by His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Prime Minister in their address to the parliament at the start of the new legislative term.
The Kuwaiti Government adopts a policy of moderation and balance, amid "this scorching turbulence in the region, and we pray to His Almighty Allah to spare us repercussions of these events."
