No Algerian victim is reported after the shootings that erupted Wednesday around the Parliament of Ottawa, situated in the Canadian capital, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry affirmed.
"Following the shooting that erupted Wednesday near the Parliament of Ottawa, the services of the Foreign Ministry are in constant with the Embassy of Algeria in Ottawa and no Algerian victim is reported," stressed Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, contacted by APS.
Algerian community in Canada is estimated at nearly 100,000 citizens, much of them are based in Ottawa.
