
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting with head of the Turkey-based National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Hadi al-Bahra to discuss unified stance ahead of Moscow meeting.
The top diplomat and the Syrian opposition leader talked a proposal suggesting series of meeting to be held by Syrian opposition groups in Cairo in a bid to reach one document before the Moscow meeting in January, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said.
During their talks, Shoukry underscored Cairo's stance, stressing that the political solution is the only way out of the crisis. It is necessity to reach consensus among groups before heading to Russia, he spokesman said.
Also, the minister renewed support to Syrian people reiterating importance of keeping Syria united, the spokesman added
