
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held meetings with his African counterparts who are participating in the African Union summit in the South African capital of Johannesburg.
Shoukry met with Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed to evaluate the outcome of the three African economic blocs’ summit, held last week in Sharm El Sheikh, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
He also met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra and AU Commissioner for Peace and Security Ismail Chergui on the developments of the Libyan file and preparations for the fourth meeting of the International Contact Group for Libya, which convenes later in the day in Johannesburg.
