
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held Monday official discussions with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi.
The two ministers tackled means of promoting joint relations in various fields for the best interest of the two people, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Atti.
The talks took up also the latest developments in the region which witnesses a state of instability and spread of terrorist organizations.
They stressed the importance of preserving the Arab identity and renouncing religious and ethnic divisions.
The meeting tackled number of important regional files atop of which is the Syrian crisis where they agreed on finding a political solution for that problem to meet the aspiration of the Syrian people.
They also probed conditions in Yemen, the Palestinian cause and forming a joint Arab force to preserve the Arab national security.
