Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Thursday with visiting Ethiopian people’s diplomatic delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Abadula Gemeda.
The minister said the visit would further boost bilateral win-win cooperation.
Shoukry expressed his full understanding of Ethiopia's need to develop, noting the Nile water is a "matter of life and death" for Egypt.
Earlier in the day, the delegation met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Gemeda, for his part, hailed as "positive" the meetings with Egyptian officials, stressing that the president promised supporting the development projects in Ethiopia.
The delegation comprises prominent academicians, former ambassadors, religious leaders, artists, and journalists.
