
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry mourned former Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al Faisal who died earlier on Thursday.
The minister expressed his deep sorrow over the demise of al Faisal, saying that the Egyptian people would never forget his good deeds and support for his Arab nation.
The late minister has shown unforgettable stance in support of the revolution of June 30, Shoukry said, offering condolences to the Saudi people and government.
The late prince was the world’s longest-serving foreign minister as he was appointed in 1975. He was replaced on April 29 by Adel Al Jubeir.
