Shoukry to hold discussions with Bahraini counterpart

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will hold on Tuesday talks with his Bahraini counterpart Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al Khalifa at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.

The two ministers are expected to hold a press conference at the end of the talks.

This coincides with holding the 9th session of the Egyptian-Bahraini joint committee on Tuesday under the two diplomats.

The preparatory activities were organized here on Saturday under Assistant Foreign Minister for the Arab Affairs Tarek Adel and Bahraini Undersecretary at the Foreign Ministry for Regional and GCC Affairs Waheed Mubarak Sayyar.

Adel said that it was agreed during the preparatory meetings of the committee that about 15 memorandums of understanding (MoU) and agreements will be inked to promote joint cooperation in the domains of agriculture, health, media, training diplomatic cadres, organizing exhibitions as well as conferences, tourism, investment and culture.
