
Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh hailed the keynote speech, which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa in addressing "Egypt Economic Development Conference – Egypt the Future", being held at Sharm Al-Sheikh resort.
"The royal speech reflects the commitment of the wise leadership to support joint Arab action so as to confront mounting challenges and threats, which are currently unfolding in the region", he said.
In a statement today, he hailed the keynote royal address as symbolizing Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering fraternal relations and boosting economic cooperation with Egypt in all fields.
Al-Saleh stressed the vital objectives of the "Egypt Economic Development Conference - Egypt the Future" and said that it was highly-important for Egypt to regain its leverage and leading role as a pivotal country that champions Arab and Islamic causes.
He underlined Bahrain’s keenness on benefiting from the investments opportunities and promising economic projects in the sectors of tourism, construction and banking and financial services in particular.
He paid tribute to the wise leadership, hailing its strong drive and directives to support the Egyptian economy as a cornerstone of stability and security in the region.
The Shura Council President extended thanks and gratitude to Egypt’s leadership and people for their stances on consolidating security and stability in the region as a whole and in the Kingdom of Bahrain as whole, wishing Egypt progress and prosperity in all fields.
