Pro-government Bunyan Marsous operations room Spokesman Mohamed Al Ghasri expected Sirte to be declared free from Daesh hold within two days after combing the city from bombs and explosives planted by Daesh.
The pro-government forces advanced in Sirte after Wednesday's clashes, Gharsi said in press statements.
Gharsi said Daesh depended on snipers and suicide attacks during the clashes.
