President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday bestowed the Order of Honor Star - one of Egypt's highest military decorations - on Sudanese President Omar al Bashir for his participation in the wars of Attrition and October 6, 1973 as part of the Sudanese military units.
The two leaders were attending a military parade in Ismailia marking the anniversary of the 6th of October War victory.
Sisi has also decorated the flag of the Egyptian Armed Forces with the Order of the Republic for their role in the 1973 war and in securing Egypt's borders, in addition to their fight against terrorism.
