
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted that the blood of the Egyptian Armed Forces personnel that has been spilled on the soil of Sinai on Friday's morning will strengthen our resolve to continue our battle to build homeland.
In a post on his official account on social media, President Sisi mourned the Armed Forces martyrs and offered his sincere condolences to their families.
Earlier in the day, 12 servicemen were killed and six others injured when an armed group attacked a military checkpoint in North Sinai.
Also, 15 terrorists were killed in a firefight with the army personnel in North Sinai.
