Sisi greeted by Azhar Imam on Bairam

The Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Ahmed el Tayyeb, has greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the advent of Eidul Fitr (Lesser Bairam).
In a telephone call on the occasion, the Grand Imam wished Egypt and all countries progress, development and prosperity, said a statement issued by Al Azhar.
The statement pointed out that the president expressed his support for AL Azhar and its continued efforts to serve Islam and the nation's causes.
