President Abdel Fattah El Sisi greeted on Wednesday the Egyptian people and their armed forces on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the 6th of October War Victory.
Also, he thanked Arab states for their sacrifices during that war to help liberate the occupied Arab territories.
At the beginning of his speech, President Sisi welcomed Sudanese President Omar al Bashir and his accompanying delegation.
Also, he asked the attendees to observe a minute of silence in honor of martyrs and heroes of the 1973 war victory.
The 6th of October War Victory is best proof of Arab joint cooperation, Sisi said, stressing that lessons should be learned from that heroic epic to overcome unprecedented challenges facing the Arab nation.
