
Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz received Egyptian Ambassador to Mauritania Ahmed Fadel Yaqoub in the presidential palace.
Yaqoub said that he handed the Mauritanian president a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi where he invited him to visit Egypt within the framework of enhancing joint relations.
In a statement distributed by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, the ambassador said that during the visit the two sides will discuss Arab and African issues.
The ties between the two brotherly Arab and African countries are flourishing in various fields for the welfare of both nations, the statement read.
