
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held talks here with Jordanian King Abdullah II on international efforts exerted to fight terrorism.
According to Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef, the two leaders also reviewed the regional situation in the Middle East where both sides asserted the necessity of maintaining the territorial integrity of Iraq.
As for the Syrian issue, the two leaders underlined the importance of hammering out a political solution to the Syrian crisis, added the spokesman.
Regarding the Libyan file, the two sides also expressed identical views over supporting the legitimate institutions of Libya, added the spokesman.
