
Egyptian Ambassador in Khartoum Osama Shaltout has said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is keen on boosting relations with Sudan in all fields.
Speaking at a ceremony organized by EgyptAir's regional office in Khartoum to honor a number of travel agencies in Sudan, Shaltout said that Egypt's political leadership was interested in removing all obstacles facing movement, communication and development between the peoples of Egypt and Sudan.
The diplomat added that EgyptAir operated three flights per day between Khartoum and Egypt to increase communication between the two peoples.
As many as 200,000 passengers are transported annually between the two countries, he pointed out.
