
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Thursday with executive chairman of King Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Activities Prince Turki ben Abdullah ben Abdel Aziz in the attendance of Saudi Ambassador here Ahmed Qattan.
Sisi welcomed the Saudi prince, lauding continued Saudi support of Egyptians under the wise leadership of King Salman ben Abdel Aziz, Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
Sisi paid tribute to the historic visit by King Salman to Egypt, saying it contributed to boosting brotherly relations between the two countries.
The President also lauded the foundation's activities in Egypt that focus on serving Islam, spreading culture and improving the quality of education, the spokesman added.
Prince Turki lauded the activities the foundation has been carrying out in Egypt, including, among others, rehabilitation of Al Azhar mosque, setting up new residential buildings in city, setting up the building of Azhari satellite Channel and developing labs in Azhar institutes.
