
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi laid down on Thursday a wreath on the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in Cairo's Nasr city on the occasion of Sinai Liberation celebrations.
He also laid a wreath on the tomb of late President Anwar el Sadat.
Defense Minister Colonel General Sedki Sobhi and Chief of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazi welcomed the Egyptian president at the Memorial.
Sisi shook hands with a number of army commanders, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb and Cairo Governor Galal Moustafa Saeed.
