President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday received a message from Chinese President Xi Jinping on Beijing's keenness on boosting the bilateral relations with Cairo in all fields.
The message was handed over by Chinese Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng during a meeting on the sidelines of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) currently in session in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
The message tackled the successful visit made by Sisi to China in December during which an agreement for strategic cooperation was signed between the two countries.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said that the Chinese president lauded in his message the efforts exerted by Egypt to push the comprehensive development process, stressing his country's support for these efforts.
The meeting reviewed a number of fields of cooperation and the Egyptian projects which will help achieve the Silk Road initiative launched by the Chinese president.
