President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived here late Friday from Switzerland after taking part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Speaking at the forum, the president touched on the ongoing international efforts to combat terrorism, stressing that Islam should not be blamed or held accountable for the actions of extremists.
Sisi also touched on the domestic economy and the latest legislative and financial reforms adopted by the government to boost the investment atmosphere, and bring down inflation.
It is worth mentioning that the president cancelled all his planned meetings at the forum once he knew that the Saudi King Abdullah passed away earlier in the day.
Bad weather prevented the president from taking a helicopter to Zurich Airport and he had to make a two-hour journey to the airport.
