Sisi underlines necessity of protecting Arab youths against extremist ideas

President Abdel Fattah al Sisi on Tuesday received Arab youths and sports ministers and heads of youths and sports councils along with several Arab ambassadors accredited here.

According to Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef, president Sisi underlined at the meeting the importance of the role undertaken by the ministries of youths and sports in the current stage in light of the need of Arab young people of the efforts of these ministries.

President Sisi, according to the spokesman, also asserted the necessity of outlining an Arab strategy for investing the energies of the Arab youths so that they would not be let prey to others who would inculcate subversive ideas in their minds.

The president underlined the necessity of protecting the Arab young people against violent and extremist ideas, added the spokesman.

Attending the meeting was Egyptian Minister of Youths and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz.
