
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport a number of Arab leaders and senior officials, who arrived for the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC).
Sisi welcomed Sudanese President Omar al Bashir, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdel Aziz, UAE Vice President and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum and Omani State Minister Yahya bin Mahfouz al Manzari.
The president expressed appreciation to them for accepting the invitation to the conference, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
He hailed their countries’ stances in support of Egypt, stressing that Egypt is keen on joint Arab action and redouble efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Arab peoples for development and stability.
