Speaker of Iraq Parliament hails UAE's humanitarian supportive position

The Speaker of the Iraq Parliament, Salim al-Jabouri has commended the UAE leadership, government and people's continuous humanitarian support to Iraq and other countries.
The remark was made during the meeting between Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) and al-Jabori, on the sidelines of the 10th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States., which was kicked off today in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The UAE Parliament Division is taking part in the event.
Al Murr and al-Jabouri discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, among others, the Islamic issues and bilateral relations.
Al Murr stressed the UAE leadership's directives to provide humanitarian aid to the needy, especially to the brothers in Iraq. He referred to the UAE leadership instructions to boost Emirates Red Crescent Authority's charity efforts to assist those affected by the crisis.
