Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said on Saturday that the state will never abandon the families of the martyrs and the injured of the revolution, pledging to provide them with health and social care.
Mahlab made the pledge during a meeting of the National Council for Care of the Revolution's Martyrs and the Injured.
During the meeting, the council, chaired by Mahlab, agreed to allocate 1,000 residential units to the injured and the martyrs' families.
It also agreed to organize Umrah (small pilgrimage) trips for 100 people of the injured and the martyrs' families.
"They will be chosen through a public lottery," Mahlab said.
The council will also agree with some army hospitals to provide treatment for critical cases of the revolutionary's injured.
