A student was killed by a bird-shot bullet when clashes erupted between members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group and security forces near a police station in Sharqiya governorate earlier Friday.
A security source said that dozens of MB members staged a march toward the Dirb Negm police station, chanting slogans against state institutions.
Security forces dispersed the MB members and arrested one of them, the source added.
His colleagues tried to free him and clashed with the forces before unidentified persons fired bird-shot bullets, the source said.
The student was injured and rushed to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries, the source added.
The march was dispersed and several participants were arrested.
