
Sudan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Ghandour has stressed that the Sudanese government would continue treating southerners as foreigners as long as the government of south Sudan continues to assist rebels from the Sudan which the south Sudan does up to this date.
According to Sudan news agency (SUNA), the minister pointed out in statement before the 16th session of the Sudan Workers Trade Unions federation in Khartoum, and in response to an intervention by the representative of south Sudan to the event who called for the implementation of the four freedoms agreed upon by the two sides, that "whenever Juba lifts its hands from supporting rebels, then the Sudan would be open for south Sudan citizens" The Sudanese minister stressed the main pillars of the Sudanese foreign policy which is null problems with neighboring countries, saying the Sudan has reached advances stages in cementing relations with its African and Arab surrounding.
