
Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour's visit of Egypt on Saturday is part of political consultations between the two countries and comes upon an invitation from Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Egypt's Ambassador here Osama Shaltout said.
During the two-day official visit, Ghandour will have talks on means of promoting bilateral relations in the different domains and a number of Arab and regional issues of mutual concern, the Egyptian envoy told MENA correspondent here.
The two foreign ministers will also probe preparations for the high joint committee meeting, scheduled to convene in Cairo soon under the chairmanship of Egyptian and Sudanese presidents, Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Omar al Bashir respectively, he added.
