
The Minister of Justice, Mohamed Bushara Dosa, pointed out that the year 2014 is one for laws' reform toward boosting the investment activity in the country, noting that amendments in the Companies Act for the year 1925 that were referred by his ministry to the Council of Ministers comes.
In a joint press conference with the Minister of Investment Sunday, Dosa has called for improvement of the act with regard to the investment atmosphere and to remove all the legislative contradictions at different levels.
He assured the importance of having legal bases for the investment activity as it represents the basic infrastructure for the national economy, adding that the investment practices are linked with legal procedures and regulations, and that concern and precautions is very importance. He pointed to the importance of conducting legal feasibility study for each project, appreciating the Act of Investment for the year 2013 that tackled all aspects pertinent to investment in general and without contradictions between the act and the other laws.
