Sudanese president meets Qatar's FM

President of the Republic of Sudan Omar Hassan Ahmed al Bashir has met with HE Qatar's Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah who was on a one-day visit to Sudan.
HE Dr. Al Attiyah conveyed HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's greetings to President al Bashir and his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
For his part, the Sudanese President assigned HE the Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his congratulations on the holy month of Ramadan.
During the meeting, they reviewed ways of strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the two countries and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
In a joint statement with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti, HE Minister Al Attiyah emphasised on the importance of the bilateral relation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Sudan and its development areas to transfer it to advanced stages.
