
Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir on Thursday received a letter from the Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani dealing with the bilateral ties.
The message was handed over to Al-Bashir by Qatar Ambassador to Sudan Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Nu'aimi.
President Al-Bashir instructed the competent bodies in Sudan to work with their Qatari peers for expanding cooperation in all fields in order to serve the common interests, Al-Nu'aimi told reporters after his meeting with the president.
He added that President Al-Bashir lauded the role of Doha in promoting security and stability in his country.
