Sudanese president receives UN envoy for Sudan, South Sudan

Sudanese President Omar al Bashir received Thursday evening UN Representative and special envoy for the UN Secretary General for Sudan and South Sudan Haile Menkerios, the Sudan News Agency reported.
They discussed issues related to the mission of the UN representative to Sudan and South Sudan.
Earlier, Menkerios met with Sudan's Minister of Defense, Lt. Gen. Awad Mohamed Ahmed Ibn-Oaf amid his meetings with senior Sudanese government officials.
