
The Vice President of the Republic, Hassabou Mohamed Abdul Rahaman, was briefed on the most recent developments in South Darfur State, particularly the security situation and the arrangements adopted by the government to implement the state of emergency, seeking to curb unruly elements there.
Gen Adam Jar-Ennabi, Governor of South Darfur State, who called on Vice President Hassabou, the meeting reviewed these measures and the recent arrest of disruptive elements who are not affiliated to any specific groups, stressing that these measures would continue and the government will go ahead with implementation of programmes and plans aiming to instill stability and security in the state.
He said the Vice President has reaffirmed the need to intensify efforts for stability and security in south Darfur state.
