
Police arrested several suspects hours after a deadly bomb blast in Karannah village on Friday night in which a policeman was killed and four others injured, according to Bahrain's Interior Ministry.
It said in a statement that an investigation was launched following the "terrorist blast" in which some suspects were arrested.
"One police man was killed in the terrorist blast and four others injured with condition of one officer in critical condition," stated the Ministry
A Bahrain couple and a child were also injured while passing by near the blast site.
Last month, two policemen were killed and six other injured after terrorists who were trained in Iran and Iraq detonated high grade explosives targeting a police bus in Sitra.
