Syria witnessing military, political achievements

Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi said that Syria is witnessing military and political achievements, adding that the balance has shifted thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and army. During a meeting with Ambassador of Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Damascus, Jang Myong Ho, Minister al-Zoubi said Syria will be rebuilt by the Syrians and with the help of friendly countries, adding that the friendly countries, such as DPRK, BRICS states and Iran have had a pivotal role in supporting Syria, SANA reported. He said Damascus highly appreciates the struggle of the North Korean people for more than 5 decades in the face of the USA. For his part, Ambassador Jang said that his country is facing the same threats made by the same governments, the US, Israeli entity and western countries, adding that a delegation of the DPRK parliament will visit Syria as to inspect the upcoming presidential elections. He stressed that the deep-rooted relations between the two countries are in constant development in all fields.
